Tasted out of bottle and the same 80/20 blend of Grenache and Mourvedre as the 2014, the 2013 Gigondas Terre des Aines is medium-bodied, juicy and lively, with plenty of freshness in its earth, herb-laced, violet and plum/blackberry-driven bouquet. Coming from a mix of terroirs, completely destemmed, fermented with indigenous yeast and aged all in tank, drink it anytime over the coming 5-7 years.
