The 2007 Borsao is 80% Garnacha and 20% Tempranillo fermented in stainless steel. Dark ruby-colored, it has an enticing bouquet of spice box and black cherry. This is a really good example of a blended wine from Aragon. It’s 50% Garnacha with 25% each Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon, and thus it is more complex and interesting than your run-of-the-mill varietal Grenache.
