The 1985 Durfort-Vivens has a deep ruby color, and a fragrant, spicy, rich, and intense bouquet of fruit, olives, and oak. On the palate, the wine has a creamy richness, medium to full body, light tannins, but fine length. This is one of the best examples of Durfort I have ever tasted. Anticipated maturity: Now. Last tasted, 4/89.
