The 2006 Bocca di Lupo (Aglianico) is powerful and intense in its dark red fruit, smoke, toasted oak, flowers and minerals. The wine possesses notable persistence, even if it doesn’t have quite enough depth in the fruit to balance its structural components. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2014. Oenologist Renzo Cotarella always lights up when he speaks about his wines from Puglia, and with good reason. These wines keep getting better vintage after vintage.Importer: Ste.
