The only red presented was the 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape, and there were no special cuvees produced in the vintage. A blend of 45% Grenache, 35% Syrah and the balance other permitted varieties, aged 30% in barrel and the majority in concrete tanks, it is a solid 2011 that has medium-bodied richness, good acidity and perfumed notes of spring flowers, black cherries and spice. Already approachable and ready to go, it should be consumed over the coming 3-5 years or so. Drink now-2018.
