The 2004 Barolo Prapo, from a vineyard in Serralunga, is richer and weightier than the Brunate. This fresh, structured wine is loaded with sweet dark plums and prunes in liqueur, vanilla and sweet toasted oak. It offers outstanding length and finessed tannins that frame its core of dark fruit. It too is made in an international style. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2022.
