The 2016 Etna Bianco Superiore is a blend of 90% Carricante with smaller parts Minnella Bianca, Catarratto and Visparola. The Milo side of Etna gets more rainfall, and wines made here tend to be a bit more streamlined and linear as a result. You definitely get those results here with this salty and mineral-driven white. The effect is streamlined and clean, and the smaller percentages of other indigenous grapes adds to the texture and the length of the finish.
