The 1992 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee des Cadettes is forward, rich, and full-bodied, with plenty of smoky, herb, and red and black fruit aromas and flavors. It should be consumed over the next 7-8 years. Alain Dugas has been gradually increasing the quality of the wines made at this historic estate. Filters have finally been eliminated for the red wines and readers will consequently find that the estate's Chateauneufs have a more natural richness and chewier mouth feel.
