San Giusto’s 2005 Chianti Classico, a lively ruby, presents gorgeous aromatics along with pretty notes of red fruits, flowers and spices. This tasty, medium-bodied Chianti is a lovely wine to drink now and over the next few years. Even though a rainy September meant the estate was forced to harvest 10-15 days earlier than normal, the 2005 is a beautiful effort, if slightly less generous than in the finest vintages Anticipated maturity: 2007-2009.
