Last Tasted 1/92 This is a successful, even superb 1983 that exhibits none of the rotten, musty aromas that so frequently afflict other wines. Deep ruby in color, with a blossoming yet still tight nose of super-ripe black-cherries and raspberries, this spicy, earthy, rich, full-bodied, well-structured wine is completely clean, and evolving beautifully. It should be drunk between 1993-2005.
