The 2020 Rosso di Montalcino (with 29,400 bottles produced) shows simple lines and an accessible personality with redcurrant, sour cherry, baked clay and lavender essence. The wine is identified by its very Mediterranean or Italian traits that specifically link it to the breezy hillsides of Montalcino, Tuscany. La Poderina does a nice job with its Rosso program.
