Much better is the 2007 Allende Tinto, which was made from 100% Tempranillo and was bottled unfiltered after spending 14 months in new French oak. It exhibits lots of berry fruit, cedar wood and unsmoked high quality cigar tobacco, medium body, a beautiful texture, and a pure, impressive style with the wood pushed well to the background.
