The 2017 Chianti Classico Riserva shows an open-knit approach with lush aromas of ripe cherry, plum and dried raspberry. The wine has absorbed much of the heat and dryness of the vintage, resulting in richly concentrated flavors, but the palate remains fruit-driven and soft without feeling too heavy or flat. Indeed, the fruit and energy of this Riserva makes it a versatile pairing to myriad combinations of meat, pasta or both.

A fresh, fluid style, this red displays ripe cherry and strawberry, rose and smoky underbrush flavors. This is elegant yet firm and intense, with a long, iron-infused finish. Sangioveto and Canaiolo.
