From higher terraces of the estate's holdings, the 2015 Gigondas les Hauts de Montmirail is a blend of 50% Grenache, 25% Syrah and 25% Mourvèdre. It does show a bit of freshness on the velvety finish but also plummy, chocolaty notes and fudge-like density and weight on the palate. I wouldn't cellar this too long.
